Specifications, compatibility and ordering information
The 12-Port Indoor Wall-Mount Optical Distribution Frame is a metal enclosure for indoor fiber splicing, termination and distribution where a rack-mounted panel is not required. It provides 12 adapter positions together with an internal splice tray, fiber routing space and cable fixing points, allowing fiber termination and patching to be handled inside one wall-mounted unit.
The configuration shown uses 12 SC simplex adapter positions. This type of ODF is commonly installed in building telecom rooms, corridor distribution points, FTTH access locations and other indoor sites where the fiber count is relatively small but the cables and splices still need to remain organized and accessible for maintenance.
Adapter type and connector polish should be confirmed according to the existing fiber system. For example, a project using SC/APC should not be supplied with an SC/UPC front-panel configuration even if the port count is correct. The required adapter layout, fiber type and supplied accessories can therefore be confirmed before production.
