Specifications, compatibility and ordering information

24-Port Outdoor FTTH Fiber Termination Box

This 24-Port Outdoor FTTH Fiber Termination Box provides a protected termination point between feeder or distribution cable and multiple subscriber drop cables. It combines fiber splicing, splitting, adapter connection and cable routing inside one enclosure for FTTx access-network deployment.

With 24 subscriber output positions, it is suited to access points serving a larger number of FTTH drops while keeping feeder fibers, splice trays and outgoing subscriber connections organized in one location.

When to Choose the 24-Port Version

The 24-port version is intended for FTTH access points that need more subscriber outputs than a smaller 16-port enclosure while retaining a compact field-installation format. It is suitable where one feeder or distribution route needs to serve a defined group of subscriber drop cables from the same termination point.

Port capacity should be selected according to the current subscriber count, planned reserve capacity and the way drop cables will leave the enclosure. A larger port count is useful only when the physical cable routing and splitter configuration also support the planned network layout.

Fiber Termination, Splitting and Distribution

Incoming fibers can be spliced and managed inside the enclosure before being routed to the required subscriber connections. Where passive splitting is used, the internal layout can also be configured around the required PLC Splitter arrangement.

For access networks using SC/APC interfaces, compatible SC APC Simplex Single-Mode Fiber Adapters can be incorporated into the connection layout.

Typical Applications

  • FTTH neighborhood access points

  • Residential building fiber distribution

  • Outdoor subscriber termination points

  • Feeder-to-drop cable transition

  • Passive optical network distribution

  • Wall, pole or aerial FTTx deployment

Project Details to Confirm

Before quotation, confirm the required subscriber capacity, feeder and branch cable arrangement, drop cable type, splitter configuration, adapter interface, splice requirement, installation method and quantity. A network drawing or reference photo is useful when the internal layout needs to match an existing FTTH deployment.
