Specifications, compatibility and ordering information
OFAPC MPO/MTP Outdoor Waterproof Fiber Optic Connector
This OFAPC MPO/MTP Outdoor Waterproof Fiber Optic Connector is designed for multi-fiber outdoor connections where a standard indoor MPO/MTP interface does not provide the required mechanical protection. It combines an MPO/MTP optical interface with a compact metal housing and threaded locking structure for use in exposed equipment and harsh-environment fiber links.
Compared with ordinary MPO/MTP patching used inside cabinets or equipment rooms, this connector type is intended for outdoor connection points that need a more secure mating structure, better sealing support and easier field handling.

Key Features
MPO/MTP multi-fiber optical interface
OFAPC-style outdoor connector structure
Compact metal housing
Threaded locking design for secure outdoor mating
Suitable for protected multi-fiber outdoor connections
Designed for telecom, FTTA and harsh-environment applications
Fiber count, gender and polarity can be matched to the project requirement

What to Confirm Before Selection
For this connector type, the outdoor mating interface should be confirmed first. An MPO/MTP optical interface alone does not guarantee compatibility with the equipment-side waterproof receptacle, because different outdoor connector families use different locking and sealing structures.
Fiber count, connector gender and polarity should also be checked before ordering. These points are especially important when the connector will be used with parallel optical links, trunk assemblies or breakout connections.
Typical Applications
Outdoor telecom equipment
FTTA tower and radio-site fiber links
Outdoor MPO/MTP interconnection
Harsh-environment multi-fiber links
Remote equipment and field enclosures
High-density outdoor fiber connection points

Project Confirmation
When requesting a quotation, please provide the required fiber count, connector gender, polarity, cable type, cable length, mating interface information and quantity. If available, a reference drawing or equipment-port photo can help confirm the correct OFAPC connector configuration before production.
