ODVA SC APC Simplex Outdoor Waterproof Fiber Optic Connector
This ODVA SC APC Simplex Outdoor Waterproof Fiber Optic Connector combines a single SC/APC optical channel with a rugged outdoor housing. The green SC/APC interface identifies the APC-polished connection, while the outer connector body protects the mating interface at outdoor equipment connection points.
It is intended for equipment fitted with an ODVA-style SC receptacle, including FTTA, telecom and industrial outdoor installations where a standard indoor SC connector is not the required mechanical interface.

Key Features
ODVA-style rugged outdoor connector housing
SC/APC simplex optical interface
Single-fiber connection
Green SC/APC connector identification
Protective cap for the outdoor mating interface
Sealed housing for exposed equipment connections
Suitable for FTTA, telecom and industrial outdoor fiber links

Match the Outdoor Receptacle, Not Just the SC Connector
The internal SC/APC interface and the external ODVA housing both need to match the equipment. A standard SC/APC connector cannot be selected only because the optical connector is the same; ODVA and other rugged outdoor connector families use different external mating and locking structures.
For indoor SC/APC termination without an ODVA receptacle, a standard SC APC OS2 Simplex Fiber Patch Cord is normally the more direct connection.
Typical Applications
FTTA tower and radio-site fiber connections
RRU and RRH equipment connections
Outdoor telecommunication equipment
Outdoor fiber distribution equipment
Industrial outdoor enclosures
Single-fiber SC/APC outdoor links

What to Confirm for the Connection
Confirm the equipment-side ODVA receptacle, SC/APC interface, fiber mode, cable diameter, required cable length and quantity before ordering. When the existing outdoor port cannot be identified from the specification alone, a clear equipment-port photo or model reference can be used for connection confirmation and quotation.
