16-Port Outdoor FTTH Fiber Distribution Box
This 16-Port Outdoor FTTH Fiber Distribution Box combines feeder cable entry, fiber splicing, splitter placement and subscriber-side fiber distribution in one enclosure. The 16-port layout is intended for access points where multiple drop connections need to be organized from a common feeder route.
It is designed for FTTH and PON distribution locations rather than simple cable joint protection. The internal splitter, adapter and fiber routing arrangement should be selected according to the actual network design and the number of subscriber connections required.

Distribution Box or Splice Closure?
Choose a distribution box when the network point needs subscriber outputs, splitter installation, connector termination or regular access to individual drop fibers. This 16-port version is intended for that type of FTTH distribution point.
If the requirement is mainly to join and protect feeder or branch cables without providing multiple subscriber connection ports, a fiber optic splice closure is usually the more appropriate product family.

For an FTTH access network, the box capacity should be checked against the required subscriber count, feeder cable structure and drop cable routing. If optical splitting is required inside the enclosure, the splitter ratio and package style should also be confirmed against the available internal space; available options can be reviewed under PLC Splitters.
Port count alone is not enough to finalize the box. Adapter type, connector polish, splitter arrangement, feeder cable diameter, drop cable type and mounting method should be checked before production.
Project Configuration
For product confirmation, provide the required port count, feeder and drop cable information, splitter configuration, adapter or connector type, mounting method and quantity. A reference drawing or installation photo can also be used to check the internal layout before quotation.
