SC APC Simplex Single-Mode Fiber Adapter
This SC APC Simplex Single-Mode Fiber Adapter connects two SC/APC connectors in a single-mode fiber link. It uses a ceramic alignment sleeve to keep the connector ferrules accurately aligned and is designed for one simplex fiber connection.
The green housing identifies the SC/APC interface and helps distinguish it from SC/UPC adapters during installation. This configuration is commonly used in FTTH access networks, PON systems, optical distribution frames, patch panels and fiber termination boxes.

Simplex vs Duplex
This model is the simplex version and provides one fiber connection. A duplex adapter combines two fiber channels in one housing and is normally selected when two parallel connections are required. The adapter style should match the port layout of the patch panel, ODF or termination box.

In a terminated fiber link, this adapter can be used with an SC APC OS2 simplex fiber pigtail on the spliced side or an SC APC OS2 simplex fiber patch cord for patching and equipment connections.
This adapter is intended for SC/APC connections. Check that the mating connectors are also SC/APC rather than SC/UPC, and confirm the panel opening and mounting arrangement before ordering for an existing enclosure or distribution frame.
